Opinions needed : lightest single rope for alpine climbing?

A 9mm single and 7mm tag line are lighter than light twins, less hassle/tangle when climbing/belaying, and you can leave the tagline at home if you don't fear long rappels.

I do like twins/doubles, and use them often, but single+tag has merit and I use that setup as well.
