I am looking for a partner to climb the Grand Teton via upper exum or owen spalding route the week of August 9th. I have the gear, ability and conditioning just need a partner, preferably someone that has climbed the route before.

If you dont' want to try to find someone once there, you could maybe give the climber's ranch a call and ask someone to post your name, number and the route you want to do on their bulletin board. That way you dont' have to arrive and find a partner, hopefully.

I live in Littleton and have climbed the Grand before via the Owen Spalding in a one day push. So, I guess I would be more interested in the Upper Exum. I have climbed in the Tetons a couple of other times.

You mentioned the week of Aug. 9. I don't have all that much vacation time to spare, so could you drive up there Saturday, Aug. 7 and come back Tuesday, Aug. 10. I think that would leave time to climb. I would be in favor of doing this in a single day to avoid carrying the weight to camp.
