RIP: Junko Tabei

She was the 36th person to reach the summit of Mt. Everest

I do think it's important considering the negativity she copped back then.

RIP. She did it back when you actually had to know how to climb (and organize an expedition) to summit Everest.

Even in old days Irvine almost made it to the top though he did not have any prior climbing experience.

So today with all ropes and ladders set up by the guides you just pay and get on Everest?

What about K2?
