Do you recognize these mountains?

Where? I assume the foreground might actually be superimposed on the background.

It seems like Mont Blanc Massif seen from near Chamonix, but the pic is turned like a mirror sight. Don't think the foreground is superimposed on the background

It is. This is a screenshot of a film that was filmed entirely in the Provo Utah area. Those mountains in the background don't exist anywhere near Provo-I have climbed almost every mountain around Provo and none of them look like that.

I believe the foreground comes from the area around Payson Lakes:

The background is superimposed or photoshopped in.

True, but the entire movie was filmed at Payson Lakes and Vivian Park, Utah. See here:

So while the entire movie was filmed in Utah, the background in the scene in question is not from Utah but was photoshopped in. The background is a reversed Mt Blanc Massif photo just as you suspected. I was able to find it online.

Original photo is from here (Utah company that also leads trips to the Alps):

Flipped (Mirror Image) and cropped photo (compare to movie scene mountains):

Entire movie scene if you want to see it:

I'm sure that you would agree that the background is from the Alps and not Utah.

So I was right about the background... Good work has been done to change that pic...

Thanks Scott
