Witaj Marcin!

Morskie Oko Refuge

by ant morgan » Mon Oct 29, 2007 10:58 pm

We are thinking about a few weeks winter climbing in the Tatra's this January.

Can anybody tell me what the Morskie Oko Refuge is like?
Does it have a hot shower?
Does it have a kitchen for cooking your own meals?

Thanks,
Ant

Ant, I haven't been there in ages but as far as I remember they have hot showers. I don't remember if they got a kitchen like you mean, I've always used my camping gas.

Odoakr, witamy :)

I jeszcze zapodałem relację z kretyńskiego wypadu

There are two options: the "hotel board" (in the main building) and the "tourist board" (the old building beside the main one). I've been to the latter, 2 years ago. Hot shower and "self service" kitchen was available for tourists who slept there.
