What is the name of the snowy mountain in the center of the photo (not the rocky one in front)? From where did I take the shot?

You' re right Sebastian. Well, since I don' t have a car, trips to the central alps aren' t very easy and so I do that only a very few times a yearBut the northern groups of the alps are day-trips from my home so I' m there quite a lot...

Let's plan to climb 12/0 in autumn together, as a little day hike?!
Picture taken from 18/8? But your point seems to be more western.
The mountains name is that of a bird in German. Its in Austria and over 3000m high.
Picture was taken from a famous ski area southwest of a bigger Austrian city that is also famous for it's nordic ski jump area. The ski area the picture was taken from was built for Olympic games a long time ago (before I was born).

Or perhaps it is Planskopf
Schafkogel or Schafleger
From Seefelder Joch or Härmalekopf
