Wow! Glad I went when I did. Quite a change in the weather window!

Anyone been up lately? Leaving Thursday for a summit bid later the next week. Any recent (after mid-january) conditions info would be appreciated.

Also, any idea of the condition of the Ayoloco Glacier on Ixta? Was hoping to take the more direct route, then return via the standard route.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Talusfinder,
when I was there January 20th-26th there was lots of snow on the mountain. Had crampons on from the hut...
