It appears that a man from the UK also died.
The same storm killed a 42-year-old British climber, Michael Freeman, who died of a hear attack just 2 metres from the mountain's summit. Source.

I hope and assume that none of them were part of the SP family. I saw in one of Brad's other posts that Divnamite, Renardo, Mtwhitney and Etower were on his team, but they are all from the US.

I also noticed that Windbreaker and Zenalpinist are down there as well. Safe travels to everyone.

We were just there and new a Germany fellow doing the Polish direct route. Was this persons name Stephan an Architect from Germany by any chance?

We climbed with this person last year and saw him again this year and had d lunch with him.

Hi everyone and thank you for all the sentiments and support. Unfortunately, the answer to your question bande is yes, the climber´s name was Stephan Geromin, an architech from Germany who was on Aconcagua last year. When I get back home I hope to write an article on our experiences together.
