I hit Monitor Pass the day after it opened this weekend. MAN was it a zoo of Harleys and mad alpinist cyclists!!

Funny, the signs on 395 said Monitor Pass closed on Friday, the 17th, but when we met Miguel at A-Hills on the 18th he said the signs said "open." Soooo, I was headed up there anyway on the 19th for Round Top and the 89 sure looked freshly brushed. Absolutely beautiful drive!

Too bad they can't pan that camera over to Mt. Dana, or have a separate one looking up glacier canyon....love to see the Dana Couloir conditions!
