What's New Asia - October-December, 2005

by Nelson » Fri Sep 30, 2005 7:55 pm

Thanks to Johan Heersink for volunteering to maintain this thread in January

This thread will highlight new pages for Asia and the Middle East. It will include mountain pages, routes, and trip reports.

I will keep an occasional eye on the What's New, and Last Edited Mountain pages, but if I miss something then simply add a message to the bottom of this thread and I'll incorporate the information up here. This is especially true for significantly revamped pages, since I can't tell if the edit was a simple spelling correction or a complete re-write.

A page for another 8000er is now ready for presentation. Check out the revamped page for Gasherbrum I - the world's 11'th highest peak!

Thanks, Nelson.

I plan on adding the various mountains in and around Hong Kong, but I don't have any decent photos so I'm going to wait to add them until I've taken a few decent shots of the scenery.

Gradually the HK section should grow.

Cheers.

Nomad has adopted and redone Zard Kooh in Iran. Looks much better.

Number six on Planet Earth - Cho Oyu has been completely revamped after almost three years of nada TLC.
Please have a look at it!
