Last weekend from the Saddlebag Lake road it looked pretty good, all the way to the top and as it was pretty late in the day with low light, it looked like there was at least some ice showing. Couldn't see any shrund but this time of year it's likely there will be something to deal with there.

Have fun and be sure to put up a report, I'm hoping to get up NP later on in October and may run over to Dana for a little bonus.

We're doing our best to keep an up-to-date "couloir report here: http://sierramtnguides.com/administrative/CouloirReport.htm
And there are some recent pictures from the Dana Couloir, maybe from the friend of tiogap?
Enjoy, and feel free to send us updates as you get 'em... We'll all be out there more and more now that the season's fully ramping up!

Pretty much how it was yesterday also. The bergsrund is barely opening. Also as Tfd says, you can use both screws or pickets for pro if needed.
