That also means there'll be some turns over Berthoud. I've signed up to volunteer for the 24-hours of Men in Tights at Moab but if Vail Pass is dicey (I don't have winter tires yet) I'll be hangin' around.

I will continue to hike for my turns, it's going to be a zoo, not to mention all the bro-bras.

Could be, but I wouldn't count on it. A-basin and Loveland are open because of snow making equipment. Pikes doesn't get the snow of A-basin, but there was no snow up there yesterday. I wore trail runners and never got my feet wet.

People the weather is not that bad yet. I live up here and everyone is blowing this snow situation out of proportion. I spoke with someone who skied today at Loveland and they said it was crap. Too early. You are not going to have to worry about Vail Pass anytime soon.

Oh, I know you guys, but there's always hope. I worked at Winter Park for 7 years and had a brief stint at Loveland and yes, the one-run wonders this time of year are crap. But they're good for a day of running laps and getting the old quads burning. And there are a few REALLY hardcores (not me) who've already made rock turns at Berthoud - saw that a couple weeks ago.
