too much rope (that much length is really for glacier travel)*
waayyyyy too much slack in the rope
people standing on the rope
people on the wrong side of the rope
people holding the rope

do i get an informed noob prize? :D

that's funny he thought you were part of their rope team...get off your ass! hahaha! :lol:

*they probably don't need to be roped up anyway.

That's a great start, but you are still missing some. But if you aren't a local there is 1 you might miss.


yeah, there's probably some local stuff i wouldn't know about. i do know they don't need half that gear they're carrying. i count at least 2 pairs of trekking poles that could've been stashed down low (that's what we did).

i thought about that too, but i wasn't sure. also, i don't think there's a need to kick steps in either. looks like there's already a good path.
