How about something involving rock climbing? A technical canyon in DV? Personally, I'd rather rock climb than tag a summit (although I do like both).

I might be able to make it as well.

Technical canyons in DV? Yes, there are terrific technical canyons in DV.

DV NY's sounds like a nice trip - there's something for everyone there. Not everyone would have to do the same activity but they could still all camp together.

I'd also be interested in a winter trip to do Alta Peak.

Spectre is a nice peak, but I wish I had done it when you could park closer to it. I understand Dyadic, which is about 1/3 mile from Spectre, is a bit more challenging.

Isn't there some rock climbing on the way to Alta? Lion Peak, or something like that.....

There sure is. There's even the potential for climbing on the east face of Tharps Rock too.

Haha, no secret (it wouldn't be on my profile otherwise ;) ). I was planning a little trip half of Feb up Silliman and it turns out a lot of people were interested in joining; coincidence is that a lot of them are actually on SP. So, I guess we could call it a mini SP gathering :) We'll see how the weather will turn out though...

Everbody is welcome of course!
