No idea what you're talking about! All the guys I know named after "rocks" have rocks in their brains! I'm sure you're the exception, of course. :P

I have been climbing all over summit post for exactly 1 year now. I'm no longer a SP noob!

I HAVEN'T been climbing (unless you count gym bouldering as climbing) for six months. Arrrrgh.

Started climbing when I was 17 so that´s ----- er 38 years ago an I´m still not very good at it!
Started by direct onto the rope, then some sort of chest harness then a Whillans Sit (ball breaker) harness. Amazing how the gear´s improved - and the start standard of newbies!

7 years. Started a little backwards doing rock climbing first and then decided I liked scrambling and hiking more, as long as there was a summit involved. First ice axe/crampons climb was 4 years ago, and that became my favorite. Still enjoy technical climbing.
