There are hundreds of trails more dangerous in New England/New York than Alum Cave, and several in the south worse, but I agree none of those trails have the Rabid Vampire Squirrels of Le Conte!!!

They may be bold but they aren't old. A kid falling off the rocks is pretty terrible.
