- Why ? To make a more evident border with Central/Eastern Europe ?
- How ? How to make the Danube climb the hilly pass that separates Lubljana and the bay of Koper ? (let's say the hills between the Alps-Alps and the Dinaric Alps)

Just to get better access to the beautiful mountains of Slovenia and Eastern Austria, which are - fortunately - ignored by the crowds heading for Mt Blanc anyway; not to mention capturing Borut. :lol:

These - without doubt - great mountains rise a bit west of Central Europe, which surely is a shame.

However they form the Westernmost end of the Carpathian arc, isn't it ? (furthermore their continuity even more West is in an area called "Galicia" )
