i hit up waterman and it was absolutely wonderful... probably mostly because of nostalgia, but it was still wonderful... but the outta bound skiing aint what it used to be!!!

Has anyone ridden a road bike from Azusa up Highway 39 to Highway 2 recently? If so, is it passable? Much traffic at all?

Some dude on my/our/the forum (SGMDF) did. Can't find the dang info, though. I think it's passable to bikes.

It's a fun ride. You've got the whole road to yourself. It's currently closed, but when I didn't go up there a bunch of times, I met firefighters who were very polite and didn't have any problem with it.
