Ouch, just saw this and felt my stomach drop. Mark's been in some tough spots before and pulled through. Here's hoping he and Tom come out alright...

Jeez just got back to SP. Ataxia does not sound good.

Hoping for a miracle.

According to this report, Tom is "unresponsive in a snow cave near the summit." I thought and hoped he had hiked down at least part of the way with Mark.

I hope the last line in the report is an error. Praying for a miracle.

Psyched to hear that Mark is down safely but gravely worried about his partner. Hang in there, bud!!! :(

My thoughts go out to the climbers, their families and friends. A tough situation that I hope turns out for the best.

Hoping somebody can get to Tom ASAP if he's still up by the summit.

Been traveling the last week or so and completely missed this until now. Sheesh, seems like just a few days ago Mark was over at Sam's giving a slide show talk. Sending postive thoughts to both Mark and Tom. Please hang in there!!

It's sad news, but I'm happy that Mark got down safely and praying for a quick rescue for Tom. Knowing Mark I'm sure he gave the rangers all the beta they need to locate Tom. Now we just have to hope for a break in the weather....
