Bridgeport hot spring conditions??!?!

I'm probably going to be driving through bridgeport tomorrow. Anyone been to Buckeye or Travertine lately? Are the roads snowy at all? passable with a 2wd with bald highway tires?

I'd advise against Buckeye, Travertine is fine. Still large sections of snow on the Buckeye Road as of Sunday the 28th. Won't be long though, the days are gettng longer and warmer.

Not having soaked in a hot spring for decades now, I recall going to one just back of Bridgeport to see human excrement floating in the water. I recall that it is just a two mile ski or hike to get to Buckeye from the Twin Lakes Road, could be wrong on that. Nice pretty girls, sans everything, like the MLC SC likes it!

Hot Creek also makes a good ski. There's another one closer by about Big Pine, as I recall, but all in my hazy past memory. The safest bet is Grover, by Markleeville. Unless it too is also closed.

Say hi to Travertine for me if you go. One of my favorite places, or used to be anyway. Spent many an enjoyable soak there, back when you could pitch a tent about anywhere. It was a refuge, of sorts for me. Been awhile since I've been; I hope its still in good shape. Let us know how the hot springs flow. . .
