Montbell UL Thermawarp Jacket. This is absolutely my favorite layering piece plus it packs down to the size of a half pint milk carton and weighs close to 4 oz.

Atlas snowshoes. 12 year of serious abuse until the rivets broke.

+1. That stuff is amazing - I like Patagonia the best (when it's on clearance), but it's all good.

North Face Optimus Redpoint Hooded Jacket.
Not a huge fan of TNF, but scored this for half off. It is my new go-to mid layer, and nice for around town. Very happy to have.

Patagonia Houdini Shell - This thing is awesome, and under 5 oz., stuffs into its own pocket, and clips to your harness

Patagonia DAS Parka - So warm, and bombproof.

Black Diamond Camalot C4 - Best workhorse medium-to-large cam on the market

Patagonia R1 Hoody - The hype is dead on.

La Sportiva Nepal EVO GTX - INCREDIBLY comfortable boot. Warm, breathes well, keeps my feet dry...I flirted with the idea of getting another boot for lower 48 winter climbing, and then realize I just wanted new trinkets, not needed. Handles very well on rock and ice.

Scarpa Manta Boots.

Black Diamond 90cm walkers ice axe.

Grivel 12 point crampons.

Those three items, above all else I have used, have just given me my best winter yet in the mountains.

Only cloud on the horizon is whether the recent changes to the Manta have made them less strong and less supportive compared with the earlier versions I have.

OR Tremor Pants. These are absolutely perfect for spring skiing. Warm enough to be comfortable at 10,000 with wind, good enough breathing + venting zippers to work down low in the heat, good fit, perfect around the top of my boots, and suspenders are optional. I love them.

True. That's what I get for working from memory. Montbell lists it at 8.8 oz. Compare that to the REI Muir woods fleece that it replaced that REI lists at 23 oz and the Montbell piece is warmer.
