Green mountians vermount

I want a good guidebook for the range, similar to the amc's Catskill mountain guide, or the ADK high peak's guide, like the ones that come with the maps, im not specifically looking at the long trail, i like camping trips when it comes to Vermont, a map is a must for the book, any ideas? or links?

The DHG is good, but for the spine of the Greens you will also want the LTG. It covers the entire Long Trail system, including all the side trails, and you really can't do much hiking in the Greens proper without touching the LT system.

There are small maps in the book, but they're not much use on the trail. The best overall Vermont map is the Wilderness Map Company's LT map; again, that's just the LT corridor. Map Adventures has a pretty good map of Northern Vermont. Otherwise you're stuck with the quads.

Above suggestions are good, you will not find any book/maps nearly as comprehensive as you would for te other ranges in the northeast.
