For the last year Acopa's Aztec has been my shoe for climbing everything from boulders to walls in the Dacks and indoors at my school, they fit my feet very well and the rubber is great. They have shown themselves better suited to longish routes with ropes involved and I am looking to purchase a bouldering specific shoe.

Does this have the same acopa feel that I have been loving? Does anyone know where i could try thees on in the Buffalo New York /dacks area?

How do people like the shoes? Has anyone tried on a couple of these how do they compare?

The Mountaineer has the Muira lace, I don't know about the VS. I bought them there and love 'em. They fit my feet well and edge like nobody's business. Very nice heel as well.

Have you been over to McKenzie with them?

Nah, I don't boulder in the Daks. I got them for hard (for me) sport in PA, and have only wrung them out on some greasy 5.10 wrinkles at Mocanaqua.
