Mt Index or Baring Technical routes

Postby Vinny » Tue Jul 20, 2010 12:28 am

I can only find the scramble routes described here for Mt Index and Baring.
Is the Beckey guide the only place to find beta on climbing routes?
Cheers,
Vinny

The technical route to the north peak of Index is described here (here). But the answer to your question is yes...the Beckey guide is indispensable on that topic.

MVS is correct, the Beckey guide has most of the technical routes on these peaks. Not sure when the last edition came out so it may not have some of the more recent routes like Bryan Burdo's Vanishing Point on Baring.
