Kennedy Meadows proper is completely snow free.
Lingering snow pack as of 2 weekends ago was encountered at about 8500 feet, lower on shaded slopes in the trees.
I wasn't up in your target area but rather north of hwy 108, west of Sonora Pass. This shot was taken, looking generally south east, from high above Kennedy Meadows (the meadows are out of view), looking upstream on the Stanislaus toward Relief Reservoir. I think you can see the East Flange in this pic, facing, um, left.
