Found on Middle Pal: Lost on Bear Creek Spire

by fogey » Thu Aug 26, 2010 7:20 am

Below Middle Pal Monday (8/23), we found both an ice ax and an SD card with a trove of photos. If either is yours, post or send some identifying info, and we can figure out a way to return the goods.

Ironically, two weeks before (8/6) I left my wife's ice ax (super lightweight (aluminum) Camp, blue, short) on the summit of Bear Creek Spire. Gave it up for lost, but I'm taking finding someone else's ax as a sign and posting this to see if someone found hers up there. I'd be happy to pay shipping and the cost of a good bottle of wine to get it back.

I did drop a G11 off the summit on the 15th, it had a 16 gig card in it.

fish4dinner--Thanks. I assume you mean Backpacker mag forums? I tried a search there but didn't come up with anything, so any hints would definitely be appreciated
