Banner ads

Postby Alpinist » Sun Sep 12, 2010 3:22 am

What's up with the Cadreon banner ad at the top of the page?! It is 3x larger than the standard banner ads; it takes up fully 50% of the screen!! That's outrageous!

How does one go about complaining to Google...?

I haven't seen the ad today but it was on almost every page yesterday... I don't have admin rights on my work PC so I can't do much about it unfortunately.

Seriously, a banner ad that occupies 50% of the screen is totally f#cked up.

Have you set your profile preferences to "mimimum ads"?

That's a joke right? That setting has never worked. I have it set to minimum ads and I still get ads appearing at the top, bottom and righthand side of the screen at times. (All 3 at once.) And yes, I'm logged in when that happens.
