What's this about?

[Edit: the new text in the dropdown help is much improved : concrete and concise.]

I'm guessing this is a not-yet-implemented feature, but that the idea is that a suggestion score (SS) will appear somewhere on each mountain page, person's profile (other pages? routes?) when you're logged on.

I'm very confused about how the score is calculated. Can you be specific?

What's the intended use/benefit of this feature?

This FAQ is related to a new feature that is about to be released. More details will be given soon.

I signed a Climber's log, just to see how the feature works - and get this answer:

"you has not yet signed a climber's log.

In order to receive suggestions, at least one climber's log must be signed."

Is geography is a factor?

Age is a matter of mind and if you don´t mind it does not matter!

Besides, I can't find where to turn the feature off. It's not in the Edit your profile?

Due to computational complexity of the queries, the suggested lists are only updated once a day. So you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what suggestions you may have :)

Maybe it should be constructed so geography is a factor?

If you want to find mountains close to a certain location, this is already a feature in the standard search form. Here's an example of all of the peaks on SummitPost within 50 miles of where I live:
Mountains within 50 miles of Ashland, OR

There is currently no option to "turn off" this feature.
