Mount Kenya sometime between 6/24/10 - 7/6/10

Postby erixsparhawk » Fri Dec 24, 2010 3:01 pm

I'm going to be in Kenya during this time frame and I'm thinking about climbing Batian, the main summit of Mt. Kenya sometime during this time frame. My normal adventure buddy isn't able to go on this trip. Does anyone want to join me? I was thinking about doing it though this company:

Any suggestions/comments anyone has would be welcome also.

So you'll be there between June 24th 2011 and July 6th 2011, right? I might be interested in that. Especially since it looks like a pretty cheap trip. Confirm me those dates and I'll give you an answer after I get back from Kilimanjaro on the 20th of February. If I like that trip, I'll probably be up for this one!

I've always wanted to do Mt Kenya, but isn't it in Africa or some such place?

Yes, I will be there between June 24th 2011 and July 6th 2011, however, I will not be purchasing my plane ticket until the end of January.
I see that you have Pico De Orizaba on your list. My friend loved that peak but he got a little frost bite on one of his feet.
