Good movie, but not worth paying movie prices, wait for the DVD

I think the movie you are referring to is named 127 Hours.

127 Minutes would be a porn flick title. Better to wait for the DVD on that one too.

IMO the movie was great.

My review: the cinematography really had you alongside Ralston for the entire ride. I really found myself rooting for him and being impressed by his creativity and will to live. I would not recommend waiting to see this on DVD because it is the perfect movie to see blown up on the big screen. Franco did a superb job and the shots were all extremely creative. Captivating music topped off the whole thing off!

Its still new in theaters. If you look hard enough I'm sure you could find one, but chances are it will be a bad copy. I usually wait till DVD.

Thought it was a good movie. Really takes you through his ordeal. Made me appreciated my mobility and freedom of choice.

Outside magazine has a great article including a lot of commentary from Aron regarding how it was filmed.

Good movie, but not great, and its a drama, not a documentary. It reminded me of the short-lived "K2", which was a drama loosely based on the Jim Wickwire/John Roskelley climb of K2. James Franco does a good job as the main character (almost the only character!). If you want a good climbing documentary, get a copy of Touching the Void (from 2002?).

I liked the movie as well. I thought it captured the "will to survive". Quite inspiring.
