Ski Plane available in SW B.C.

Postby CaptainCanuck » Tue Jan 18, 2011 6:28 pm

Hello,

I have had many comments from people that did not know a less expensive winter air transportation option existed... so.

I would like to offer our services to aid your backcountry adventures. We have a "Beaver" ski plane based at the Pemberton airport. Let me know if you need a lift. http://www.tyaxair.com

My appologies for the self promotion - have a nice day, here's a pic from one of last years trips into Wadd.

...and my first question was "you'll fly into Waddington, right?" :)

Although the picture above is taken on the Telot Glacier, beside the Plumber Hut - the Diaz Glacier is our prefered landing zone for access to Wadd.

It seems the Lillooet Ice field and particularly the Wahoo Tower area is our most popular spot to take people.

Self promotion and commercial posts usually are not popular but I doubt anyone will complain. You could also add some Waddington pictures and attach them to the Waddington page.
