Hunter Mountain Advice

Postby beaudittl » Tue Jan 25, 2011 4:39 am

Hey all. I was looking for a good challenge, so I have decided to take the Devil's Path to Hunter Mt. However, I've read on several websites and have become a little nervous as many of them state different things. With that said, can anyone shed light on this approach? Where is the trailhead located within the Devil's Tombstone Campground? Is it fairly easy to follow? etc etc. Thanks in advance for any and all info. Happy trails!

Winter will be a good time to do this. I did it last month. I'd gotten lost following false trails. An excellent adventure.

Last month I came from Western Terminus (see Hunter Page).

Hazard on Trail. Not far up from D/T Parking.
