Plastic Nuts

Anyone use these? They are light and pretty cheap. Wondering if anyone has any experience with them.
They claim to be just as strong.

I wonder how they're affixing the wires to the plastic. I see they don't make them in small sizes (which require soldering); their smallest plastic nut is a little bigger than their #7 metal nut. But even on the #7 the wire protudes past the end to avoid bending too sharply; the wires on the plastic ones don't do that.

Excellent link, thanks. I see the wires do protrude in the normal way; that wasn't visible in the photos in the original link, partly due to the fact that the ends of the nuts are not square. (side view explains what I mean)

Thanks for the link. I don't really need any nuts but I would like to check these things out. Maybe I can talk one of my partners into buying a set!!

The smallest ones have a rounded brass nubin that softens the curve of the wire and probably protects the plastic

gear4rocks was created to fill the needs of the Ukrainian and East European climbing community. These are hardy climbers who don’t care what their gear looks like and they would never, nor could ever, drop $500+ for a set of cams. They just want safe gear for cheap. Over the years our customer base has grown to include many search & rescue groups and military. These groups want gear to hold the forces they are rated for, function smoothly and that is it. No pretty colors. No shinny finish. No big star rock jock advertisements in magazines. gear4rocks has made climbing gear affordable for normal people who want a cheaper alternative. We are happy to hear the positive feedback many of you have given us over the years. Our gear is designed to be functional, serviceable, affordable and safe, not pretty or trendy. We promise to keep it that way.

The gear4rocks website offers prices 5% less than our ebay auctions and still includes FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE We also offer a 10% discount for every returning customer and a 20% discount for our distributors and affiliate customers. One time orders over USD 624.98 will receive a 20% discount. Lastly, we are happy to entertain reasonable offers.

I like these guys already...
