What book, website, person I should get a hold of for beta on doing all the CO 14'er in one dirtbag summer? Is SP enough? I'm cheap. Anything from easy hikes to 5.10 routes, one day or week long trips. I'm not aiming for any speed record. I'm a lazy climber.

It might seem obvious but 14ers.com has some great info and some really nice interactive maps that show the main routes on all Colorado 14ers + TONS more info. Should aid in planning and logistics.

I always helps to do some peaks with someone who knows the route well, makes everything safer, MUCH more stress free and enjoyable.

This. Beyond that, I'd suggest starting in the Sawatch, since they're big, gentle anthills of talus, continuing on to the other areas, and saving the San Juan for last. PM me if you want more details.

Also, it can't hurt to get Gerry Roach's Colorado Fourteener guide. I generally find this one more useful than Lou Dawson's, but his is a little more oriented toward ski mountaineering anyway.

My wife and I did the official 53 or 54 in '09. It was a great trip. We were not trying to set a record; instead we were just trying to spend the summer in the mountains. It was a snowy season and we had to continually alter our schedule to find good weather and conditions.
Anyway, we probably have more info online than you care to read; but we detailed the things that were important to us.
