Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone has been up the NF of Big Pine Creek recently. Just looking for general conditions regarding the trail and snow. I haven't been up there since April first. Specifically, I'll be going to Temple Crag. Any information is appreciated.

Weird weather up here today but I ran up to the cabin. No snow to speak of and doubt there is much of a problem to get to the base of TC. New freshies on the crag, though.

I hiked up to First Lake Friday. Lots of snow on the trail past the cabin, but no snow shoes required; no post-holing. Things might have changed Saturday night though. It looks like fresh snow down to around 8000'. Winds were bad all day Saturday and Sunday.
