mt baldy accessible without snow shoes?

by phillinley » Fri Jun 03, 2011 8:28 pm

After some miserable late spring snow stopped me from climbing in Utah yesterday, I figured I could at least climb Mt Baldy with no worries, but as I'm driving in from the north on i-15 I see the damn thing is still snowed in.

Is there any route I can take that won't require a long snowshoe slog? Or which of the slogs will be the least annoying. Was planning it tomorrow but I don't know if I'd have time unless I'd start at like 3 am.
