Was just getting ready to post this. I can't tell you how many times I've taken chances on snow bridges like this, but I was always with others.

Wow. Scary. She's very fortunate to have made it out of there. Smart throwing her pack out.
Brings to mind this story, and the consensus of what happened to the guy is a similar story: a snowbridge gave way, he became trapped underneathed, and sadly perished. Great read.

Wow, that is scary. Snow bridges can definitley be scary and this is proof that they can be very dangerous. So far I've been fortunate and only had minor incidents. Thanks for posting the article Rick.
