Longest technical route in So Cal

Postby wallspeck » Mon Aug 08, 2011 6:53 am

What is it? The Sierra's don't count.
And I don't mean long slogs like North Face of San Jacinto.
I mean "roped 5th class" climbing.
Is it White Maiden's Walkaway on Taquitz? or is there a longer one in the desert or on the pillars beneath the tram?
I'm guessing there might be a really long "ridge" route somewhere.

I thought that The Consolation was longer and more difficult (5.9) by around 40 or so feet???

Holy cow, now that is showing my age. Did that back in '73.

Magical Mystery Tour (.11c) on the north side of Tahquitz? Most likely something on that side of the rock.
