Humphreys Peak in October?

Postby ynpsteve » Thu Sep 01, 2011 1:25 am

I'm new to Arizona and am thinking about climbing Humphreys Peak the weekend of October 7th/8th. Obviously the weather is always unpredictable but generally speaking might there be snow to contend with by early October? I'm also planning on taking the Weatherford Trail. Any beta regarding the trail (or other peak/hike/climb suggestions) would be much appreciated!

No, snow is not an issue that early and the Weatherford makes a very gentle 20 mile hike.
