Appreciate your honesty anita.

Fact is, I do not post anything (nor flood the site with photos and TR's) here to get any accolades as many appear to do.

Just do it so that others can enjoy areas and situ's that they may never have the opp to do so.

Although yes I agree that the popularity contest has taken over the voting system, this thread was actually created for the opposite. Do you see any pics of mine posted by me in this thread? No! This thread was designed (at least hoped) to equal out the attention to those photos that deserve it. No offense to the guys who post nice beach sunset photos, but I often don't vote on them. Now if I were the site owners, I would create a sister site for posting great photography of all sorts and then encourage the users of sp to post there sunset shots there.

And if I ever post a bad picture on sp, don't hesitate to contact me about it. (I try to avoid this)

the mountain climbing photos are good but it looks very dangerous...I prefer the dogs and family picnics and flower pictures...you should not encourage the general public to go harm themselves
