Just been extending the other way round recently - Polish flag was flying again on one possibly unclaimed Balkan summit - details coming soon! :D

Someone submitted eight identical route pages today... visible on the What's New page.

typical when someones clicks on the "back" button when creating a page, thinking that it would result in modifying 8 times the page content.

There's a whole series of pages by "Cheo" and "diam...." for peaks in Kyrgyzstan. They were posted once, had little to no content, then dropped, but then reposted, and by receiving one vote each (from one of the page owners), keeps the page alive.

I suggested in the comments that the pages should be combined into one "range" or "area" page. Individually, the pages lack anything useful.

I've been watching those pages and sent a comment on one of them, with no response. I'll probably change them to custom objects since the pages could be good if some effort were put in.

This guy iceisnice has a few pages that are very blank and lacking in info. One in particular, the north face direct route on Mt. Sneffles (http://www.summitpost.org/north-face-direct/213886) is pretty bad. I tried to make a comment on the page suggesting that he add a primary image or at least get rid of the "add external links here" text on the page and the user got very defensive and even insulting towards me, saying "Not sure what your deal is with routes needing to be detailed to death. Not my style. I put enough on to entice...but keep the adventure alive." I responded by suggesting that all he needed was a few simple changes to make it look like the page wasn't thrown together in less than a minute in which he responded "it was more like 2 minutes...I'm good with that." This attitude doesn't seem consistent with the aims of Summitpost. His other pages aren't much better.

Hi Bob,

I think this page:

http://www.summitpost.org/manistee-river-trail/759242

Can go. It's completely blank. No work on it since 10th November. The owner hasn't been active since 25th November.

Thanks,
Sarah

Could this area page be changed to an album? It doesn't really carry any real info, especially when compared to its parent page.
