hey fatdad, I make u a deal...I ping you when its in, if you can, I will meet you in angelus oaks, you can down a beer, we can blindfold you, and take you there. After you learn the secret handshake you will be in.....as long as the ice is ;)

IN OTHER NEWS MORE ON TOPIC
The last storm dropped 12-16inches of very light fluffy snow. It tracked very differently; it came in from the NE and hit the big bear ridge (the resorts, sugarloaf, onyx) but beyond that the snow totals were very meager in comparison south of the big bear ridge. looks like the wind event took its toll on san G wilderness high peaks, everything looks wind scowered and mean up high. But the brunt of snowfall was on BB ridge, the wilderness saw little snow more wind

we have been spoiled last couple years w early snowfall. Im jones'n bad...

Make it a shot of bourbon and you're on. I'll bring the bourbon.

If we get half a foot out of this entire event next week I'll be impressed... looks weak but far better than nothing. My skis are organizing a demonstration due to lack of use. Occupy Living Room.

Damn! Don't say that, it might hear you!! Both of my "kids" have been out to play in the past week but slipping on rocks and tearing up corduroy at a resort are not quite what I am jonesin' for.

I happily stand corrected:

If it wants to go ahead and exceed those estimations for some factor, that's fine too.

But alas, got parties to tend to this weekend. Maybe mid-week next week. You gonna go out there soon? Would love to hear/see the conditions to Xmas Tree Hill.

There was a group of skiers camped just beyond the moraine at right of center. We and they were the only people there that night.

One of the best weekends we've ever had in the San Gorgonio Wilderness.
