NE Face of Lone Peak

Postby Mooner » Sun Jan 15, 2012 9:16 pm

Here is the Link to my Video of The NE Face of Lone Peak, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWJDbthi ... bNYK7PmnxO

Could someone please explain to me how I can post this video in a trip report so that I can make an official Trip Report? I want the video to show up on the page and not just the link

What date did you climb? Im interested in how skiable it is right now. There is supposedly one section that doesn't fill in on a low snow year.

We climbed it in May of last year. The bottom of the couloir cliffs out on granite slabs. On low snow years you have to traverse south around the cliff to exit the couloir. We climbed it on a high snow year so the cliffs/slabs were cover by the sluff cone. Skiing it this year would be pretty balsy with the active weak layer from Oct/Nov.
