FS: MLD Alpine Bivy - waterproof/breathable eVent

by 7sport » Tue Feb 14, 2012 7:18 pm

Hello.

I'm looking to sell a new condition 2010 Mountain Laurel Designs Alpine Bivy. I am asking $220 shipped CONUS but welcome offers and will ship wherever at cost assuming it doesn't prove to be too much of a hassle.

I'm new to the forums here, so I don't know what might or might not be known about this brand here. It's top notch stuff made to order in the US. Typical wait times when ordering new from them are in the range of 2 months. Some specs on the bivy are as follows:

Fully waterproof. Seams are NOT taped however and need to be seam sealed. I have not done this yet.
Top fabric is 3 layer eVent waterproof breathable
Floor fabric is silnylon
Weight is approximately 12 ounces. This is one of, if not the lightest fully WPB bivy sacks available.
Horizontal chest zipper.
There is a sleeve to insert a wire hoop to keep it propped off your face. Flexible wire (removable) will be included.
I can't remember the exact dimensions but I believe its the same size as the current model shown here: http://www.mountainlaureldesigns.com/sh ... cts_id=173

If anyone has any questions or wants specific pics or anything just message me or email me at natewatts ~at~ hotmail ~dot~ com

Thanks,
Nate

Hi Nate,

Replying to a +year-old classified where you were advertising an MLD Alpine bivy for sale. Checking in if you perhaps still had this available....

Thank you.
Tom
