Yep, cotten shirt, 50% cotton pants, cotton underpants, leather boots. I can't remember, I think I changed to a dryer, warmer shirt once I set up camp. But, I like your zing.

End of July last year I was kicking it in shorts and no shirt at the lunch counter. My buddy and I pitched the tent (no pun intended) and chilled in it with the fly on the keep the sun away. Air was 60's, sun was blazin. Thats expected though. Next day at the top was windy and cold, but clear and nice. Be prepared and watch the weather. 3 lb of insulation means you just get in better shape.

I grew up in the Seattle burbs. This commerical was so popular that in grade school we would run around the school yard mimicing it.

I grew up (?) on the mean streets of Tacoma, a.k.a. "T-Town .."

We had a neighbor lady who had an affinity for welding sharp axes and threatening folks ... think the cops hauled her off in a Paddy Wagon.

Yep ... those WERE the daze ...

Crap, Tacoma was the mean streets back in the day. In the 80's shootings were nearly as common as in South Central L.A. I lived in North Tacoma very near UPS in the late 90s early 2000s. Things had changed a lot and the area had become gentrified. I sold my tiny house for double what I paid for it after 5 years (and a pretty nice renovation). There was a great brew pub, E-9, an old fire station that was only a two block stumble from my house, a nice jazz joint, good coffee houses.
