11/11 is our Independence Day.

Below is a letter, or rather a film about what we call 4/10. The film was made for and shown by Dutch TV.

And here is a couple of pieces of another letter - written by our old Russian friends, such as Natalya Gorbanevskaya, Vladimir Bukovsky or Andrei Illarionov.

Recent developments – surely controversial to some, e.g. to the French Left.

From Newsweek.pl

The letter from Poland with English subtitles:

I feel sorry for that, if it can consolate you it's not the biggest absurdity I've "learned" about Poland from French medias (do they really deserve the capital F in this case...) for example reading that the 68 student uprising was took place in the Warszaw ghetto. Not kidding !

Some new findings of an investigation which is being carried out by the Polish Parliamentary Commission were presented at a public hearing held in Brussels on March, 28th.

Do you really believe in all of this ? That tastes very much like the "September 11th conspiracy", mainly supported by... a frenchman :D (can't remember his name)

That's not a matter of belief, it's a matter of fact. Do you think Dr. Szuladzinski and Dr. Baden are seeing things? As well as these scientists? Do you believe that a drunk Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Air Forces "exposed psychological pressure on the pilot's decision to continue descent in the conditions of unjustified risk with a dominating aim of landing at any means"?

Poland doesn't surprise me anymore since years, Yatsek. Overtook the other day by car in early morning a man carrying a broom along the handlebar of his bicycle...

All I remember is what my grandmother (now deceased) told me about the former "Czechoslovakia" before the split in 1993.

This was passed on by her mother ... a native of Czechoslovakia ... never trust the Russians!
