Good job by Don on not pushing up in ridiculous conditions and dying, and coming home. I can't understand why anyone would want to climb that route.

Thanks for the update, Damien - nice to know they're all headed home safely. Agree about Annapurna NF - dicey at best. I admire the folks who make the decision on ANY 8,000er to head down sans summit if the conditions aren't safe. That avalanche...
I'm looking forward to new pics from Don of his Annapurna NF attempt - his pics from the earlier attempt (SF) are among my favorites on SP.
I appreciate the response & the info, I'm relieved to learn that these great climbers are safe and will live to create more stories in the majestic Himalaya.
