This mostly seems to affect folks planning to stay at facilities in Yosemite Valley. But, it does affect El Cap's Camp 4.

About 40% of Curry Village is permanently closed. Wow.

Government & concession employee housing & administration offices, maintenance buildings ,school, hospital, court, jail, parking lots, warehouses, etc, should be moved to Foresta & Al Portal .That space shold be used for visitor facities .Entry & other fees should be raised to fund the move . An army of people live in the Valley who could live and work in Foresta & Al Portal and Valley workers should ride on shuttles and vans.

You couldn't tell there were closures from the number of people in the valley this weekend. I lost count of the number of times I had to avoid park employees riding bicycles at high rates of speed on the sidewalks along Northside Drive.
