A reminder of what makes SP great

Postby Bob Sihler » Sun Sep 30, 2012 11:41 pm

Here is an article by a new member from Russia: http://www.summitpost.org/muztagh-tower-2012/816461.

And a very well-deserved POTW for this guy as well.

It's great to see things about mountains like this one still posted once in a while.
"Alcohol is like love. The first kiss is magic, the second is intimate, the third is routine. After that you take the girl's clothes off."

Yep, this was a great effort.

Not only that, the beta for this route was passed on to the Russians by a member of SP, who attempted it a few years ago, who rarely posts, so he would probably prefer to remain undisclosed.

Outstanding ascent of a very difficult line. Running out of food before the summit - WHEW!

And as Sarah points out - props for SP as well!

Well done on the ascent, congratulations!

Peace,

Big Lew
