Ruby Mountains Peak ID Help

by Bob Sihler » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:31 am

I managed to forget to make a mental note of details when I took this picture. It is from the summit of Thomas Peak. I believe the view is to the west or southwest. Any help is appreciated.

Somewhat blurry ... but looks a lot like Mount Gilbert, which is the sixth highest mountain in the Rubies ..

Thanks-- it's a little blurry because I've been downsizing my pictures before posting them.

The high point is the top of Ruby Dome, you are looking west. There are some intervening ridges, and in fact Gilbert is low on the right in the photo.
